About Oscar Dandelion

Hi, I'm Faith McCord, writer of the Oscar Dandelion books. I love reading, writing, watching films, looking at architecture and general design, embroidery (especially Elizabethan), spending time with my family. I used to enjoy long walks, bodybuilding, going out, however, since my injury my mobility is seriously impaired, so I'm more of a home-body now. I'm interested in meeting other indie / pro writers, so do say 'Hello' ! :)

All the best! I read your about page and Little Lord Oscar Dandelion inspired the post #43 on You Inspire me. It’s scheduled for 11th Dec. Please keep an eye out!

    • Gosh, what a surprise 🙂 I’ll let Oscar Dandelion know. He’s known for a bit of blog surfing on my Kindle 😉 It must be fascinating living in Japan. Never been there myself, but find the culture interesting. Take care.

Thank you so much for the follow! Had that not happened, I would not have read the excerpt to my children. They love it! Beautiful work!

    • I am sorry to hear of your brain injury. I live with chronic pain and disability for 8 years and I’m in my early 40s. I’ve been – and am still – let down by the medical people…and am trying again to get readmission to the pain clinic so I can manage my pain better.

Thank you for reading, I’m glad you and your children enjoyed the first chapter. It’s a book for 12+ 🙂

Kindred spirits in a most unfortunate way. But I’m pleased to “meet” you. My children are 10 and 2 weeks away from 12. My almost 12 year old is an avid and advanced reader. I think it’s perfect for “reading time”. I allocate a half hour where I read aloud to them after dinner. It’s brain excercise for me, as well as quality family time. Win win. 🙂

      • I haven’t been blessed with children but always enjoyed their company – I worked as a nanny, for a few families, amongst other jobs. The story telling you do is lovely. I still have fond memories of my dad reading to my sister and I when young.
