Take-away – Take-a-dog!

Friday evening we decided to get some Chinese food as I wasn’t up to even vaguely moving about the kitchen. I normally prefer my own stirfries (with veg, chicken or prawns or just vegetarian) because the Chinese take-aways in Britain are so greasy – and that kind of thing is expensive here.

At the front door, Oscar announced:

“I’m coming too!”

I said to John, that’s a good idea because he can advise on what we shall get.

John went in to order – Oscar chose well! – and we waited.

And we waited.

Finally John emerged from the take-away with Bag of Food! 😉

Tomorrow I’m posting another story…

About Oscar Dandelion

Hi, I'm Faith McCord, writer of the Oscar Dandelion books. I love reading, writing, watching films, looking at architecture and general design, embroidery (especially Elizabethan), spending time with my family. I used to enjoy long walks, bodybuilding, going out, however, since my injury my mobility is seriously impaired, so I'm more of a home-body now. I'm interested in meeting other indie / pro writers, so do say 'Hello' ! :)

  1. Your post made me smile. We’ve been dog-sitting for a month and today her owner picked her up. So we miss her! Your talk of stirfry has got me craving one. 🙂 Take care!
