I actually left the house today! Although the exhaustion isn’t ceasing, we managed to fill up the car, take it to the hand car-wash and pick up some fish ‘n’ chips (Haddock). I’m unable to cook or bake at the moment, so it’s up to John or sandwiches.
I took some selfies of the dogs and me, as well as pics of them and their pup-dad.
Finally home, eating our fish and chips. I couldn’t be bothered to change into my ‘house clogs’. I love these ankle boots from Doc Marten with the tattoos, except I don’t like the knuckle-duster motif.
I slept nine hours last night, six hours after getting home and I am still exhausted. This is the world of chronic illness.
Still, I have much to be grateful for.

Sounds like a great project 🙂
Little and often. Mine is also by the computer to work on. I put the gloves and the sewing materials in two plastic envelopes to keep it clean. With 7 small dogs there’s a bit of mess, lol!

Well, Sue, the blanket will be done when it will be done 😉
It’s nice that your dad is taking an interest in it. My dad, when he was here was very critical of me, except he was always interested in my crafting. I miss showing him what I make.
I love dogs – how could someone guess?! – and I can’t imagine a life without them. I just wish I had more mobility, less pain and more energy…sigh. xox

Yes it will..thank you for reminding me of that…When I am able and work on it I will..this is why I enjoy it so much ..it is my project…lol…
Yeah it is but he couldn’t be critical since he has no idea if I have made a goof up or not lmao lololol..he doesn’t know the first thing about it so I can pass it off heck I don’t even know if I have made a goof up or not lol jk …sorry to hear that your dad was critical of the work that you did but maybe he just wanted you to learn the right way?? or wish that he was able to do it?? aww see that is great to hear that he was interested in the hard and time that you did your craft…I am sure that you do miss him…sorry for your loss…
LOL I love the dog pictures they bring a smile to my face : ) I understand that about less pain and able to due more…I am with you gurly gurl!!!
I wish you better days ahead my dear friend…

Looks as if you enjoyed some sun. Glad you were able to get out of the house.

I did 🙂 It felt great having the sun-roof of the car open and feeling the sun on my face. It’s funny how the little things like this are so appreciated when in poor health.

Sounds like a full day! Good to see Doc Martins bought back the yellow stitching. I haven’t worn mine for about 10 years. Due to not being AFO-friendly. I don’t see knuckle-dusters. I see Crowns?

A full day lasting four hours, lol. I’ll take a closer pic just for you, Helen – there’s all kinds of things on them 😉
I’ve another pair, taller, with gorgeous embroidered red roses…but they need a good clean *blush*. What’s AFO?

Sorry, I only just saw your quiery….AFO +Ankle Foot Orthotic. It helps with my Drop Foot which is common for people who have had a stroke…….

No worries 🙂
I get drop foot when my body seizes up from the inflammation.

Oscar always insists on coming out with us, except we don’t take him to the supermarket (but he’d like to go).
