December Drop-In

oscar_cute_051216

Hello dear WordPress friends, you have been in my thoughts and I have missed you. I wish I could be a stronger kind of person but I suppose having chronic poor health over several years (nine) does wear you down. I’m still having to cope with extra stresses on top of, and springing from, my health related ones, so I’m not going to pressurise myself for writing deadlines or any other ‘must do’s’. I’m not feeling too confident with the stories where I usually find great solace and fun in the actual writing of them. Depression does that to you. We are only human. When things really get on top of me, I need to step back and be quiet.

I have technical problems in getting to certain pages within the dashboard of my blog – is it only me? Unfortunately, my computer is an old one, so that could be the root of the problem. I cannot seem to access my usual ‘Add New’ Post, an error message comes up… So, this other format with which I’m writing this post is unfamiliar and awkward and I don’t have access to any font colours. I will mess again, with it later.

Red Shoes #3 is almost finished. I’ve got stuck – after a fun lengthy ride! – on which direction to take, but only when I’m sure will I finish that part.

Thanks for dropping by.

Nurture your soul…

About Oscar Dandelion

Hi, I'm Faith McCord, writer of the Oscar Dandelion books. I love reading, writing, watching films, looking at architecture and general design, embroidery (especially Elizabethan), spending time with my family. I used to enjoy long walks, bodybuilding, going out, however, since my injury my mobility is seriously impaired, so I'm more of a home-body now. I'm interested in meeting other indie / pro writers, so do say 'Hello' ! :)

I had trouble accessing the Reader for the longest time – have a mac – discovered that Firefox was the problem. When I switched to Safari the problem resolved itself.
Sorry to hear illness have got you down – definitely feeling it over here, too. Take care.

    • I appreciate your input…I think Firefox is the culprit. I need to find where I’ve put my written password before trying another browser!
V.J., I’m sorry to hear you’re feeling it too. Winter is always a harder time of year, isn’t it. All the best, love and hugs.

Thoughts are with you Faith. Write when you can.
Wordpress changed on my end and no matter where I go I can’t change font colors now. Did I change themes at some point? I don’t recall. Oh well.
I look forward to reading, when you feel like writing.

    • Thanks Wendy πŸ™‚
Do you have Firefox too? Someone else had a problem with WordPress whilst using Firefox, but the situation resolved when she swapped to another browser (she’s on a Mac, now using Safari). I’ll try another browser myself when I’ve relocated where I’ve put my written password!
      I’ll drop by yours soon…

I used to use Firefox but I’m using Chrome now. I thought they took those options away. I’ll have to play with themes and see if it’s there, and look at it through a different browser just to see.
