via NO MORE PUPPY MILLS PLEASE!

ReBlogging this as it is about love and how they (animals) rely on us. We need to understand them more and protect them. Thank you to the WP blogger, ellesgot2know.wordpress.com .
Note to Irene, Little Belle’s mother, I hope you don’t mind me using your photo.

About Oscar Dandelion
Hi, I'm Faith McCord, writer of the Oscar Dandelion books. I love reading, writing, watching films, looking at architecture and general design, embroidery (especially Elizabethan), spending time with my family. I used to enjoy long walks, bodybuilding, going out, however, since my injury my mobility is seriously impaired, so I'm more of a home-body now. I'm interested in meeting other indie / pro writers, so do say 'Hello' ! :)
Despite having a cat I would visit a local pet shop every Friday. For the csts, but occasionally there was a puppy or plural……….when the puppy mills were finally closed I noticed an absense of the puppies. I enquired and puppy mills being shut down was mentioned. I just don’t understand why pet shops don’t consider having a rescue puppy from the lost dogs home(here in melb) so people can fall in love with them? Cheers,H

Well done Australia for banning them. The UK still has them! I’m shocked. And we’re supposed to be more civilised in the West?!
That’s a great idea, Helen, the pet shops taking on rescue dogs.
Did you see Little Belle on either blog or web site? Gosh, her story made me cry but she had the best time of her life for the last 6 years with a person who truly loved her. xo
