Viola ~ for *you* Viola!

Dear Viola from Germany, I made this for you some time ago. It is yours. Thank you for the friendship. Viola, a wonderful lady with a big heart, whose courage, creativity and special way with animals I do admire.

Viola’s blog can be found here: (English version followed by German)

Afterwards I remembered that there is a certain viola flower called the Dog Violet*, and I do regret it a little for not adding a pup.

(It should work when you click on either picture that it enlarges so you can then right-click and save to your computer).

‘Painted’ with the coloured pencils from Derwent Studio – my big birthday present this year.

* Viola canina – heath dog violet; Viola labradorica (syn. V. conspersa) – American dog or alpine violet; Viola reichenbachiana – early dog violet; Viola riviniana – common dog violet.

About Oscar Dandelion

Hi, I'm Faith McCord, writer of the Oscar Dandelion books. I love reading, writing, watching films, looking at architecture and general design, embroidery (especially Elizabethan), spending time with my family. I used to enjoy long walks, bodybuilding, going out, however, since my injury my mobility is seriously impaired, so I'm more of a home-body now. I'm interested in meeting other indie / pro writers, so do say 'Hello' ! :)
